Mohali have done extremely well and restricted Chennai to 136 for seven at the end of 20 overs. Chennai were on top for most of the match but they started to slip away after losing Parthiv Patel. The hosts lost too many wickets in quick succession and none of their big-hitters could play the big shots. Irfan Pathan bowled an excellent last over under pressure, with just 10 runs to defend.
